OUR FOCUS

Organic Agriculture in the Philippines

Given the multi-faceted challenges to organic agriculture, there is a need for holistic, systems approach and interdisciplinary collaboration among various government, non-government, and private institutions as well as with communities and peoples’ organizations. While learning from the experience and knowledge of international institutions, it is imperative that basic and applied research generated under Philippine conditions be conducted to provide the science backbone to organic agriculture suitable to the country’s specific concerns and opportunities.
