The University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB), through the Agricultural Systems Institute- College of Agriculture and Food Science (ASI-CAFS ) and the Interdisciplinary Studies Center for Organic Agriculture (Id SC- OA), is set to host the Second Organic Agriculture (OA) Fair on March 6, 2024. The 2nd OA FAIR aims to intensify public awareness about the recent developments in organic agriculture.
The OA Fair will feature insightful sessions, such as sharing lessons and experiences from selected OA practitioners, guided farm tours at the Organic Agriculture Research, Development, and Extension Center (OARDEC), product and technology booths, and cooking demonstrations.
Anticipated attendees include researchers, extension workers, local government units, farmers and farmers’ associations, non-governmental organizations, students, and representatives from the private sector. Selected stakeholders are likewise invited to showcase their organic agriculture products and technologies.
As the OA Fair approaches, UPLB aims to foster a collaborative environment, promoting the growth and advancement of organic agriculture in the Philippines.
