Promoting organic farming & helping the urban communities through CAFÉ-I

For years, Communities for alternative food ecosystems initiative (CAFE-I) aids the communities of Cebu in establishment of edible gardens and promotion of organic practices. With the COVID-19 pandemic, poor urban communities were greatly affected, hence they streamlined “Grow it yourself feeding & gardening program”. Led by Ms. Teresa Ruellas, this program promotes growing a garden for personal consumption, for livelihood and for community.
